Hold On To Your Hats!  Homework: 1. Reading- read story p. 78-81,   2. Grammar-W.B. p. 13,  3. Sp. W.S. p. 15,   4. Math W.B. p. 93-96.   Before you panic, we had about 30 min. this afternoon to do homework; so hopefully, your child won't have more than 45- 60 min. of homework left to do!

Well, we have hit the ground running!  The students are doing such a great job adjusting to 3rd grade, thanks for all of your hard work with them!

We worked very hard today!  I'm beginning to feel like school has begun.  Your child has settled in very nicely and is adjusting to 3rd grade and me!  We have no homework tonight.  Enjoy your evening and spending time with your family.

Even though it is Wednesday, we do have some homework:  Reading Workbook, page 1- it is a vocabulary crossword puzzle.

First Day!

What a great first day we had!  It was one of the smoothest first days I can remember!  Your child was wonderful!  We do have homework for tonight:  Your child is to put 3 things into the plastic bag, important things that mean a lot to them.  They will be asked to share those three things and tell why those things are important to them.
